4. Anyone using CQG? Help pls

   Long story short , switched platforms as the only broker I can trade futures in Canada used CQG.

   Only, I’m having insane trouble with setting my Stop Loss. I’ve asked chat gpt and waiting to hear back from my broker but can anyone solve this?

   I want to do a regular market but. No limit buys (I used to do them and at times my order never got filled, I like the control of market buy geometry dash).

   I right click my order and click “stop loss”. I add the number of ticks to my stop. Click OK.

   Tell me why it counts the stop loss as a whole new order on a separate panel, and I can’t even see the SL on my chart? It’s just kind of… hidden in a bottom panel under “orders working”. I want to be able to drag my Stop Loss on the screen. So every trade I’m nervous because I can’t see my Stop Loss. Messing with my psychology.

   I tried a OCO Bracket order and setting my stop Loss that way…. I ended up somehow setting two stop losses and still couldn’t move them on the screen. They were just stuck there so I had to cancel them. Completely different than TradingView and how I was trading. And I’m a person that enjoys seeing where it’s at on the chart and making any adjustments as I’m extremely visual.

   Am I just doing something wrong? It’s kind of hard to fiddle with it when I’m in the middle of a trade because I’m watching the charts so closely I don’t have time to sit there and try and figure out how to correctly do my stop loss

8. CQG Data for Tradovate and Sierra Chart

   Hello, I'm wondering if anyone here is using or has used Sierra Chart with Tradovate as a broker. I am trying, and so far it's not too easy. I can't seem to reliably get the attention of Tradovate support. I have a ticket open to get CQG credentials, it took a about 5 days to get someone to acknowledge my request. They said that the credentials would be in my secure chat on the live account. They are not, as far as I can tell (I'm fully fallible, and acknowledge the possibility of user error here Grow a Garden). Meanwhile I have been charged the $15 monthly connection fee.

   Support has said they are very backed up right now, so maybe I'm not the only one experiencing delays? Would like to know.

10. future and option prices (on CQG desktop)

    Hi everybody... I am currently evaluating some trading platforms for futures and options.

    I am quite experienced with futures trading but my current broker doesnt give me options in the same account so I go for the next (my favorite is Amp + CGQ desktop)

    My main question is what is the option's price?

    For example I buy 1xCLEH25 and there is a contract specification

    So I buy a CLEH25 at 73.8, daytime margin 1651$ Overnight margin $6607 and I know the facts.

    To hedge the position I also buy a 16DTE put with a strike price at 73 (P.CLEH257300) the ask price is 1.50$

    However what will be the margin impact geometry dash lite? I cant see it there. Is it 1000x 1.50? One CL contract is for 1000 barrels and the option allows me to buy or sell one futures contact at a given price... but CQG doesnt show me the margin impact.

    This doesnt depend on the broker ( I evaluated Discount Trading before with CQG desktop)

11. Clear cache automatically rather than having to reload the page hourly.

    Perhaps it's my issue but once I see a slow down scrolling HOT, I reload the site and all is smooth again. Is this a cache issue? Could there be a function to automatically delete cache at certain limits or in a timely manner?

    Background, I am a user of Tradovate. It is very much an all-in-one broker + platform. Even live data subscription is pretty straight forward.

    Due to recent outages, I have been looking around for backups or alternatives. Have been checking out broker/platform sites like AMP futures, Edgeclear, IronBeam, OptimusFutures, NinjaTrader, SierraChart and so on...

17. Help with Rotating SVG Marker Perpendicular to Line Layer in QGIS

    I'm working with QGIS and need assistance with rotating an SVG marker on a point layer (representing bridges Geometry Vibes) to be perpendicular to a line layer (representing a river).

    Question:

    What is the best approach to determine the angle needed to rotate an SVG marker so that it aligns perpendicular to the nearest point on the river line?

    I had an idea to calculate the directional angle of the river and then add 90 degrees to achieve this, but I'm unsure how to write that expression in QGIS.

    Additionally, I cannot add any new fields to the attribute table, so any solutions should work without modifying the existing data structure.

    If anyone has tips on using QGIS expressions or specific functions to achieve this, I would greatly appreciate your help!

19. CQG desktop ... multiple charts with different symbols?

    Helllo, I have a question about the web based CQG desktop.

    I want to have 5 or 6 charts with my favorite symbols in them.. e.g. one for ES one for SIL one for NG

    Is that possible? Till today I have seen omly multiple charts for the same symbol in different time frames Geometry Dash Lite. But I mostly trade the 15 min or 1h and dont need that.

    Currently I use IGs web interface and Prorealtime and often I want to see e.g. all precious metals if they move together... to see convergence and sector trends.
