  2. SMS notifications

There should be a way to get SMS notification (Texts on phone) on fills and maybe other things like incomplete fills, and problems with connections. This is great for when you are not in front of your screen, but working orders. Many other trading platforms offer this.

  3. Option to display multiple ticks on a single level in DOMTrader

When markets move fast and a product has a small tick size it is impossible to keep up with the price action in the DOMTrader. For example, if I were to trade the RBOB Gasoline futures it is nearly impossible to keep up with even small moves. The DOMTrader should have the option to display more than one tick per level.

So for the RBOB example, with one tick per level the prices displayed might be 1.1798, 1.1799, 1.1800, 1.1801 and 1.1802. If the ticks per level were set to 5 those prices would be 1.1790, 1.1795, 1.1800, 1.1805 and…

  4. Limit Order Above or Below the Market

    Hello,
Would it be possible to code an algo or have the ability to set a limit order at a certain price once that price point is crossed? For example the market is at 2654 currently i would like to have a buy limit at 2654 but only if price hits 2654.25. Is there a way to automate this so i can just have orders sitting in the queue that will turn to limit orders once a line is crossed.
    Thanks.

  6. Building and testing complex Trading systems

CQG should offer a course on building complex trading systems, then record it for general use by customers. Experienced traders would benefit from this 'CQG Trading System Academy' and grappling with the maze of different ways to assess an idea. Traders have plenty of ideas, but enabling them with a structured step-by-step process would refine their knowledge. Not an easy topic as there are multiple approaches, hence the need to embark on a system building journey.

I suggest that as part of your next upgrade that the functionality to select default time in action preference should be included

  8. Preventing impossible trades in backtesting

I have some strategies that frequently trade on the same bar. Most of these trades are fine, but in back-testing, I have reason to believe that some small number of them are trading in an impossible order. For instance, in a long trade, the price might enter the bar at an intermediate value, fall to the low that meets my sell condition, rise to a high that meets my buy condition, and then exit to the next bar. In back-testing, this would show up as a completed trade, since both my sell and my buy condition are met within the…

  10. Ladder Size

I think it's version 18x12x8063 that I upgraded to today. Doesn't allow the same smaller size ladders.

    Previous version was 18x10x8032.

Is there an option somewhere to change to a smaller font?

Or how do I roll back to previous software version?

  11. How to make spread display half-ticks in DOMTrader

Entering a spread like APM7-2EPM7 into a DOMTrader window will show prices in increments of whole numbers (1100, 1101, 1102, 1103, etc). To change this to increments of 0.5 or other value you can do the following:
    1) In the DOMTrader window right-click on the tab at the top where you see APM7-2
    EPM7 and select "Create QFormula".
    2) Right click on that tab again and select “Edit QFormula”. This will open the Formula window.
    3) In the formula window, highlight the formula (which should show as SPREAD(APM7-2*EPM7).
    4) Click on "Setup" at the bottom of the window and…

  13. OCO bracket created on two existing orders

Let's suppose the trader already placed the two dis-joint orders such as a BUY limit @ 90 and a BUY stop @ 110. Bid/ask is at 99/100.
Is it possible to join together these two orders into one logic OCO after they are already placed on the DOMTrader as described above?

  14. Limit Risk Positions

Allow a user to restrict a contract from being traded. Like an soon to be expiring contract or perhaps near delivery. User could add back permission if desired as well

  15. Is it possible to OCO an order from the spreader to a normal order ?

I'm working an normal outright order in the exchange traded spread and one in my CQG spreader. I would like to set it, so the first fill cancel the other. Is that possible?

    Thank you
