    The current limitation of only having a Total Gross Open Position Limit restricts effective risk management for both gross short and long positions. This setup allows clients to hedge their positions but can lead to excessive gross short positions without a corresponding limit, potentially increasing exposure. Implementing hard limits on gross short and long positions would enhance control and mitigate risk more effectively.
