An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Adminefrain (Admin, CQG) commentedThe charts seem to be in daily format and not intraday ( per your instructions ).For example ,when scrolling the cursor each bar still represents a day and not any intraday segments . I followed your instructions and it does say 233 tick charts but I don't see any intraday segments at all

1. Set the chart type to a range bar.
2. By default this chart type is a bar. Right click on the bar and select Modify RB.
3. Under display change Bar to Candlestick
4. To change it to 233 or 512 ticks, enter ‘,233’ or ‘512’ (minus the apostrophes) and his enter.Adminefrain (Admin, CQG) shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Adminefrain (Admin, CQG) commentedHi Ceres,
Yes this is possible through creating a custom study in our formula builder. In the formula builder you can create a study with multiple lines where each line would be a different study of yours. This study can then be added as a toolbar button where you could easily toggle it on and off of any chart you have selected.
If you'd like assistance with this please feel free to leave a request for a product specialist to reach out to you:

An error occurred while saving the comment Adminefrain (Admin, CQG) commentedHi,
Unfortunately there is no easy way to do so. You can create a custom study that will reference the High and Low of a higher timeframe, however on a sub-minute bar chart, this would show the highest high (or lowest low) since the new minute started. See screenshot. An error occurred while saving the comment Adminefrain (Admin, CQG) commentedWould it be possible to do something like this? Pic attached is a 1min candle overlayed on a 10sec chart.
An error occurred while saving the comment Adminefrain (Admin, CQG) commentedWe do have a feature called Chart Analog Overlay that allows this. Overlaid charts can have different symbols and time frames. You can find more details here: http://help.cqg.com/cqgic/19/#!Documents/chartanalogoverlayanalog.htm

Sorry you are looking for a constant volume bar, not a range bar. Switch the chart to CVB and then youy have a 233/512 tick chart.
